Toilet Paper Stand
Problem
Maximizing space in a bathroom is an important but often overlooked opportunity. Countertops, shelves, and floorspace can become cluttered quickly with various items that serve different purposes. Multifunctionality coupled with aesthetic design is an important exploration for bathroom spaces.
Research
Initial brainstorming and sketching led to a design of a multifunctional toilet paper stand made from wood. Important dimensions for the design were determined, including the size of toilet paper rolls. The toilet paper stand was built using a table saw, miter saw, power drill, drum sander, bandsaw, belt sander, biscuit joiner, and power sander.

Solution
The toilet paper stand is a clean and sleek multifunctional design that maximizes bathroom space and minimizes excess clutter. While it is a toilet paper stand, it can also hold extra toilet paper, including jumbo-sized rolls, or newspapers and magazines. Additionally, items can be set on the top of the stand, which further adds to its multifunctionality.
